The Fanshawe Institute for Indigenous Learning stands as a vital hub for Indigenous students and communities, fostering an environment of research, innovation, experiential learning, and social entrepreneurship. A remarkable collaboration between Franklin Precast Terrazzo Company Inc, Franklin Terrazzo, the design team at Diamond Schmidt Architects, D Grant Construction, and Guy Williams, Special Advisor for Indigenous Education, brought to life the stunning 33-foot diameter artwork. To the artist's vision was fully realized, the intricate pattern across the 28 sections was crafted without divider strips, showcasing the seamless beauty of the design. This was achieved through the dedicated efforts of Franklin Precast Terrazzo, who precast all components and assembled them at their facility in Chatham, ON with the supplies from Domus Terrazzo.
