The Webster's new Canadian storefront at 121 Scollard St., Toronto! Founded in 2009 by Laure Herierd Dubreuil in Miami Beach, our luxury retailer brings a unique blend of design and sophistication to Canada. Each location, including this stunning space, is individually crafted, featuring inspirations from Miami's iconic deco style. Step inside to experience our beautifully designed interiors, complete with exquisite terrazzo in shades of black, beige, white, and pink, reflecting our commitment to luxury and elegance.
At The Webster, the pink terrazzo staircase is not just a functional element; it's a breathtaking centerpiece that connects our three floors. Visitors often pause to capture its beauty, making it a popular spot on social media platforms like Instagram. Crafted from a stunning combination of pink epoxy resin, Mother of Pearl, and elegant Italian and Canadian aggregates, the staircase features exquisite one-piece tread/riser units and landing slabs. The hand-formed brass divider strips add a touch of glamour, completing this iconic architectural feature that truly defines our luxury aesthetic.
The completion of The Webster's stunning project was no small feat for Franklin Precast Terrazzo Company Inc. Located in an elite shopping district with narrow roads and noise restrictions, the site presented significant challenges, including limited parking and difficult logistics for loading and unloading equipment. A crane was essential to transport machinery in and out of the building, as shown in “additional photo 2” with a floor grinder being hoisted. Despite these obstacles, Franklin Precast Terrazzo Company Inc. successfully navigated the complexities and delivered the project on time, showcasing their dedication and expertise.
