Franklin Precast Terrazzo Company has transformed the public corridors and spaces on levels one and two, showcasing stunning terrazzo installations alongside two monumental precast staircases. Collaborating closely with Franklin Terrazzo Inc, they crafted a remarkable flooring solution that spans 42,000 square feet, featuring 9mm thick Epoxy Terrazzo complete with Moisture Mitigation and Full Coverage Crack Isolation Membrane. Additionally, the project is beautifully framed by 4,500 lineal feet of precast terrazzo base, all expertly manufactured in the Franklin Precast Shop. Joseph Brant Hospital
Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington, ON, has undergone a remarkable redevelopment and expansion, focusing on innovative technology and open spaces to foster a calming environment that promotes health and healing. This project marks the largest of its kind in Burlington, showcasing the commitment to enhancing patient care through thoughtful design and modern facilities. The careful selection of Franklin Precast Terrazzo elements further contributes to a soothing atmosphere, making the hospital a welcoming space for all.
Oakville Hospital
The new Oakville hospital is a state-of-the-art healthcare facility. The LEED certified project boasts 35,000 sq. feet of epoxy terrazzo floor, cove base and a monumental staircase. The interior design was based on the existing natural environment, specifically the nearby 16 Mile Creek. The blue and grey tones represent water and stone, while the pattern is reminiscent of the movements of the creek.
NFRMC Cancer Center, offers a comprehensive range of services to ensure exceptional care for all cancer types, including breast, lung, gynecologic, prostate, and urologic cancers. Accredited by the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer, they pride themselves on being a trusted community cancer program. Survivors have a special moment to celebrate as they ring the bell, marking the end of their treatment journey. ​Welcome to a state-of-the-art hospital, where patient privacy, safety, and comfort are the top priorities. The integration of healing power of nature, featuring images of native Manitoba wildflowers and grasses that not only enhance the aesthetic but also serve as wayfinding landmarks throughout the facility. The glass walls are adorned with imprints of majestic elm trees, symbolizing the importance of Winnipeg's urban elm forest, the largest of its kind in North America.
